FUN FEST SOUTHERN GOSPEL CONCERT — The Fun Fest Southern Gospel Concert will take place on Saturday, July 14 from 7 to 10:30 p.m. at the Eastman Employee Center Auditorium. Doors open at 6 p.m. The concert will feature a performance by the Squire Parsons Trio, Sacred Harmony Quartet and the Collingsworth Family. This event is sponsored by the New Car Dealers of Greater Kingsport, Eastman Chemical Company, and AM 1320 WGOC. Tickets are required and may be purchased for $5 at the Fun Fest store in the Fort Henry Mall. AFG COMMUNITY CONCERT—AFG Industries, Inc., WXBQ 96.9 FM and News Channel 11 proudly sponsor the AFG Community Concert on the Ford Dealer’s Stage at J. Fred Johnson Stadium on Thursday, July 19 from 7 to 10:30 p.m. The concert features country music artists, Jake Owen (“Yee Haw”, “Startin’ With Me” and “Somethin About a Woman”) and Joe Nichols (“I’ll Wait For You”, “Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off” and “Another Side of You”). FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE - This years Friday Night Live Concert at J. Fred Johnson Stadium will kick off on the Ford Dealer’s Stage on Friday night July 20, at 7 p.m. Friday Night live will feature opening act Quietdrive ("Time After Time" and "Rise from the Ashes") followed by Kimberley Locke (“8th World Wonder” and “I Could”) and headliner Relient K (“I Need You”, “Must Have Done Something Good”, “Give” and “The Best Thing”). EASTMAN CONCERT - GRAVELY PRESENTS THE CHARLIE DANIELS BAND with SYMPHONY OF THE MOUNTAINS
EASTMAN CONCERT – Gravely presents The Charlie Daniels Band with Symphony of the Mountains as part of Fun Fest’s grand finale. The concert will be Saturday, July 21 at 7 p.m. on the Ford Dealer’s Stage at J. Fred Johnson Stadium. The concert will open with music from Symphony of the Mountains Orchestra. They will then be joined by The Charlie Daniels Band who will then finish out the show with hits such as “Devil Went Down to Georgia”, “Sunday Morning” and “Somebody Was Praying For Me”. The concert is sponsored by Eastman Chemical Company, Charter Media, AM 1320 WGOC, 101.5 WQUT and 104.9 WKOS. Gates will open at the discretion of the fire marshal approximately 2 hours before show time. The concert will end at 10 p.m. followed by the Eastman Fireworks Spectacular. Tickets are required and may be purchased at the Fun Fest Store in the Fort Henry Mall beginning June 23 or at the gate the night of the concert if available.
